DN Lawyers are dental claim lawyers specialising solely in dental negligence claims across the UK from our offices based in Leeds and London where we represent patients throughout the country in pursuing dental negligence claims.  

This role offers a Paralegal to learn and grow with the department and eventually run a full Dental Negligence claimant caseload with supervision from a supportive team. The right candidate will have litigation experience with some experience of running a claimant cases from start to finish, both pre and post issue and will have the support of a more senior members of the team to learn and develop.  

The role will include but is not limited to:-

• Reporting to the Partner or Associate Solicitor
• Drafting letters of claim
• Draft legal documents and Court pleadings
• Assist in undertaking general research
• Highlight and escalate any issues to qualified lawyers
• Assisting with preparation of schedules of loss
• Instructing dental experts, quantum experts and attending conferences
• Assessing quantum in line with judicial guidelines
• Assisting with drafting witness statements
• Preparing costs schedules and/or liaising with cost consultants

Personal Specification

• LLB Hons / BA Law Degree
• Paralegal with some experience with clinical negligence (small claims and fast track) personal injury experience is essential
• Litigation experience and a confident communicator
• Client management skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
